East Palo Alto: Moving Towards a Substance Free Community

“Moving Toward a Substance-Free Community 2017” is the theme of East Palo Alto’s eighth annual community-wide retreat, funded by BHRS and One East Palo Alto’s (OEPA) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Drug Free Communities grant.

The goals of the retreat are to assess community perspectives on underage substance use in East Palo Alto and to showcase prevention efforts conducted during 2016 – 2017 through OEPA’s substance use/abuse prevention initiative. BHRS Director David Young will be welcoming attendees.

Saturday, November 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

East Palo Alto Academy, Multi Purpose Room

East Palo Alto, CA
