St. Brendan Students Deliver Holiday Care Packages to North County

St. Brendan care packageThe North County Spanish Speaking Care Group was honored to receive holiday care packages from St. Brendan School this year. Bears In Action students Samantha, Bella and George (pictured with North County Adult staff), came to the clinic in December bringing these wonderful gifts. The children created a project they called “Remember the Forgotten,” and through their own initiative, raised funds and created gift packages of toiletries and other self-care items for clients attending the Spanish Care Group.

The care group is a rehabilitation and support group for our clients living in board and cares, who may be more isolated, especially during the holidays. The warmth and kindness we aim to achieve during the holidays are exemplified by the efforts of these young children. On behalf of the clients of North County, thank you St. Brendan School!
