Donations Needed for 28th Annual Harley Holiday Toy Run

On Saturday, December 9 at 1 p.m. the Golden Gate Harley Owners group and Santa will arrive at the San Mateo Medical Center to deliver some much needed holiday cheer to young patients. This year’s Holiday Toy Run marks the 28th anniversary of the event.

All are invited to cheer on the riders, meet the Harley-riding Santa and attend a free reception hosted by the medical center’s volunteers and staff. Harley riders and visitors will place their gifts under a holiday tree, and they will be delivered to thousands of children receiving care at San Mateo Medical Center’s hospital, dental and community clinics this holiday season.

More than 2,000 new, unwrapped toys for babies and kids through age 17 are needed. Donations can be made in advance by calling (650) 573-3731, or anyone can bring a new, unwrapped toy to place under the tree at the event.
