Lived Experience Academy

This past Tuesday afternoon I had a chance to drop in on the last session of our Lived Experience Academy. It was great to see everyone there and how enthusiastic they all were. Graduating 14 new members is fantastic and demonstrates the interest from our consumers/clients in the opportunity to contribute toward our efforts to reduce stigma and discrimination and to improve our services.

Creating opportunities for consumers/clients and family members whether through the Lived Experience Academy or our Health Ambassador program is a great way to make a positive difference in the lives of people throughout or system and beyond.

Kudos to the graduates and those before them for giving of their time and a hearty welcome to them as they now join with us as members of our BHRS team!!
