SAMHSA Launches New App to Prevent Bullying
Bullying can have detrimental impacts on the lives of children and youth in school, at home and in social settings. In an effort to prevent bullying and offer prevention strategies, SAMHSA recently launched a new app called KnowBullying. Users of the app will be able to learn tips on how to talk to children ages 2-6, 7-13 and teens about bullying, learn warning signs of bullying and share success strategies through social media. There is also a section for educators to support children in the classroom who are bullied and learn ways to prevent bullying behavior.
