Caltrain Becomes a Strong Ally for Suicide Prevention

An interesting fact from about Caltrain: their total ridership since the beginning of 2014 is 17,029,447 people. That’s a lot of people taking the train! And here’s another interesting fact: over the past 20 years the majority of deaths per year on the Caltrain right of way was by suicide. Can you imagine how many lives can be saved if BHRS and Caltrain worked closely together on preventing suicide?

Well, we are! And we are excited to see what this partnership will bring.
